10 kW hybrid solar system installation in Runda, Kenya:
The hybrid system combined the power of solar photovoltaic (PV) panels and Transmitted Electricty, leveraging the strengths of both technologies to provide a reliable and sustainable energy source for the household.

Battery banks and inverters
For domestic usage and possible grid connection, the direct current (DC) power produced by the solar panels and wind turbine required to be converted to alternating current (AC).
To carry out this change, a hybrid inverter system that could accept inputs from wind and solar sources was installed.
To guarantee a steady and dependable power source, a battery bank was also integrated into the system to store extra energy produced during times of peak output.
System of Monitoring and Control
An innovative monitoring and control system was installed in the hybrid system to maximize performance and monitor energy generation and consumption.
The homeowners were able to make educated decisions because to this system’s real-time data on energy generation, battery levels, and household energy usage.
Furthermore, the hybrid nature of the system ensured a reliable and consistent energy supply, as the solar and Modern Electricity complemented each other during different weather conditions and times of the day.
